The green cover has black titles and stamped black and red decorative pictures of a train, plane and a ship; the spine titles are in black. The corners are bumped and worn as are the edges, there is a 2" rip to the spine on the front edge and there is a tear at the top of the spine at rear edge of 1". The end papers are decorated in red and tan with a modern city in the back ground and a covered wagon in the fore ground, with a property of Topsfield, Mass. The interior is age yellowed and has some corners bent and wonderful colored pictures through out. see our other childhood readers.
