Here's a good, general resource for parents of children with disabilities. If your child has disabilities, you need a strong support team, a team that includes you as well as your child. Lizanne Capper has suggestions and information about working with your child's needs in the schools, as well as forming a team with daycare workers and health care professionals. Information includes your child's educational rights. Capper, who's daughter Lara has a language-based learning disability and ADD, has been through it and effectively uses examples from her own and Lara's life together.
