This is a charming, vintage children's rhyme book, "Child's First Animal - Bird - Rhyme Book." Circa 1930's (there is no date of publication stated); Charles E. Graham & Co.; New Jersey and New York. The book features numerous color chromolithographs and full-page illustrations; illustrated end papers. The contents are grouped into "Animal Pictures," "Our Bird Friends," and "Nursery Rhyme Book." Over-sized - the book measures 12 1/2" tall x 10 1/4" wide. Condition: Shelf wear along the edges of the boards; worn cover corners. Both covers are firmly attached. There is a crack at the front hinge between the end paper and title page; there is also a crack between the last page of the "Animal Pictures" section, and the first page of the "Nursery Rhyme Book" section. The front end paper is attached, but is shaky. The pages are lightly age-toned and mostly clean with only an occasional smudges here and there. Light foxing to the end papers and pastedowns. Overall the book is in Fair condition.
