( 20 ) Contains Alphabets of Beasts, Birds, Nations and Scriptural Alphabet. 10 full page Chromolithographic illustrations six to a page, heavy dark green, black stamped, bevelled boards with gilt title panels, mounted chromolithographic oval flower centrepiece. Minor wear, the oval centrepiece has a small loss at the top, small tape repair to one page, minor spotting on blank pages. Owner's name on ffep. The illustrations are rather beautiful. A verse accompanies each letter, and some of the animal names are out of use, ichneumon, nylghau. A scarce item. Seller Inventory # 12136
