RD Publications, hardcover with jacket, 232 pages, 11 x 8.5 x.75 in., B&W photographs plus 11 color pages of photographs, map and paintings by Ted Rose, Jan Rons and John Coker. This Third Edition of the Chili Line includes 16 new pages, featuring photographs and information that have come to light since the book was first published in 1996. One of the D&RGW's most beloved branches, the 100-mile-plus Santa Fe Branch connected the New Mexico capital to the Rio Grande's San Juan Extension at Antonito, Colorado, from 1881 until 1941. The book also includes more than 50 pages of historic photographs and maps of the D&RGW line from Antonito to Chama, New Mexico. That 64-mile line survives, and now operates as the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad. 99% of my listings are NEW BOOKS still in the printers shrink wrap. Defective DVDs will be replaced by the same title if available. Since most of my books are in NEW CONDITION opened and thumbed through titles become used and up to a 20 percent re-stocking/used charge will apply. Return shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility.
Shipping terms
Books, DVDs and CDs will ship Media Mail in the United States unless the customer chooses Priority Mail. International orders will ship USPS First Class Mail International (4 lbs. or less) or USPS Priority Mail International (greater than 4 lbs.) or via DHL and their agents (when cost is less than the postal carriers). International shipping costs are based on books weighing 1 pound as ABE bases shipping on the number of items not the weight of the book. The carriers charge by weight. If your book order is heavy or over sized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required.
Most orders ship in 1-2 business days. Shipping times cannot be guaranteed especially with the pandemic. Transit times are only estimates based on the carriers' stated delivery times, and do not include Customs processing for International orders. If your order will pass through Customs, please expect a delay.
