China Rising: The Case For Containment looks at the geostrategic threat presented to the United States and the military actions the United States along with its friends and allies must take to contain China's hegemony in the Indo-Pacific. China Rising draws an arc from the Ming Dynasty through China's century of humiliation to the modern era. Addressing the People's Republic of China's construction of manmade islands, developed to control the South China Sea, blocking the Philippines legal access to their fishing grounds and other natural resources while also preparing daily for an invasion of Taiwan! China Rising examines the modus operandi of the PRC as it grows and takes away the freedom of millions of Hong Kong denizens and students along with millions of ethnic Uighurs in Xinjiang, many forcibly placed in concentration camps. These actions all take place while PRC forces are surrounding India with new naval bases and mounting attacks along the line-of-control in the Himalayas. China Rising: The Case For Containment address the West's worst nightmare: a Communist nation taken over by a dictatorial totalitarian ruler whose country had been pumped up with trillions of dollars invested over four decades through western direct foreign investment building State Owned Enterprises that used unfair trade practices to fund a world class navy, air, and missile force all of which were pointed at our forces and that of our friends and allies. At one point in the past everyone harbored the false hope of 'democratic acceptance' which consequently failed and propelled Communist China into one of the most dangerous existential threats to democracy and the western world.
