The goldfish is the traditional Chinese ornamental fish. It was first domesticated in China during the Southern Song Dynasty from years 1127 to 1279. This volume describes the many varieties of Chinese goldfish. It recounts in detail the historical origin and development of each variety. This volume was translated from the Chinese by Ouyang Caiwei. The text is in English. No ownership marks and no signs of use.
