This copy comes with 2 dust jackets of "A Guide to Reading & Writing Japanese", which fit sizewise, but are otherwise, as fas as we can ascertain, unrelated. This copy comes from the library of Prof. Alfred Hoffmann (without any ownership markings) and of Sinologist Prof. Erich Haenisch, with pencilled name on front free endpaper and title and also the note (probably in another hand) "Ostasiatisches Seminar München" where he worked from 1946 to 1952. His edition and translation of the Secret History of the Mongols is still of use today. Sprache: Englisch Gewicht in Gramm: 550.
