Text in GERMAN. -- Includes lovely color plates showing Chinese playing the instruments, plus many black-and-white photos or art of the instruments, plus notations and charts. -- Hardcover, 246 pages, attractive green cloth. Condition: very good (the color plates have faint foxing mostly in margins). Very good dust jacket, rubbed around the edges. -- The author also wrote about Turkish music, but this book on Chinese music was apparently not translated into English. Seller Inventory # 19107
