Wayne Barton is the preeminent American chip carver. Considered a master, he has won both national and international awards and recognition for his work. For the past 18 years he has been a columnist for Chip Chats, North American Woodcarvers Association magazine, Fine Woodworking, and more. He has written five popular books on woodcarving and has made a number of TV appearances on The American Woodshop with Scott Phillips and The Woodwright Shop with Roy Underhill.
