Ruth Manning-Sanders and illustrated by Robin Jacques. Some stories are from the books A Book of Princes and Princesses, A Book of Giants, A Book of Dwarfs, A Book of Dragons, A Book of Ghosts and Goblins, A Book of Witches, A Book of Mermaids, and A Book of Wizards. There are also four previously unpublished stories.
