Chompsey Chomps Books (Dyslexic Inclusive)

This book is Dyslexic inclusive; it is printed in a font that everyone can read, including people with dyslexia.

Chompsey the alligator is great at chomping and weaving beautiful flower crowns for his friends, but not so good at reading. He doesn't understand why book club is so much harder for him than it is for his swamp friends. The letters and words don't stay on the pages like they're supposed to. Discouraged and frustrated, Chompsey chomps at the words as they fly away. How will he ever figure out how to make the words stay still and make sense?

Level Learner Books # 3 Short sentences, familiar words, and simple concepts for children eager to read on their own but still need help.

Candice Marley Conner enjoys swamp book clubs but she'd rather chomp tacos than books. She has stories and poetry in Highlights Hello and Babybug Magazine and is the author of Sassafras and her Teeny Tiny Tail, also published by MacLaren-Cochrane Publishing, as well as the YA Southern mystery, The Existence Of Bea Pearl. She lives in Alabama with her family, two cats, and a guinea pig who also enjoys chomping books.

Alaina got her degree in illustration in 2010 and since then, she has illustrated over 10 children's books and painted murals from France to Utah. Illustrating stories for children, especially about animals, has been her passion since kindergarten! She lives in Utah with her wife and dog and her many beloved art students. When Alaina isn't illustrating or dreaming up her next world of illustration, she's trying out new cookie recipes.
