About the Author

Inna Chon, an ABC certified pedorthist, has been analyzing the foot structure and its mechanics with an animator's viewpoint, as she was a former Disney Feature Animator. Animators analyze movement with gravity (or weight) and ground reaction force. She, also, analyzes the physical compensation system that operates in our body on the fallen arches and divides it into primary and secondary categories. And she sheds new light on the importance of ankle bone alignment and how to test your ankle bones, and by performing the ankle bone alignment test you can find how effectively your orthotics are made. She had her pedorthic education at the Foot and Ankle Institute of Temple University in Philadelphia in 2005. Her major in college in Korea was physical therapy, which helps to treat the foot issues without surgery or medication.
