The Chosen Path

hen love breaks you open, do you build the walls back up—or finally learn to heal?

Thelonious "Theo" Mitchell thought he had finally found his place. College football. A fresh start far from the streets that claimed his best friend. A future built on hard work and hope. Then he met Sabrinna—beautiful, broken, and impossible to resist.

For the first time since losing his mother and watching Draven die, Theo feels alive. Sabrinna's mismatched eyes see past his carefully constructed walls. Her pain mirrors his own. Together, they share secrets, dreams, and a connection that feels like destiny. But when the relationship that saved him suddenly crumbles without warning, Theo finds himself spiraling back into the darkness he worked so hard to escape.

Sabrinna's walls go back up as quickly as they came down. Her texts stop. Her calls go unanswered. And when Theo finally sees her again—laughing in someone else's arms with that devastating smile—everything he's been holding together falls apart.

The Chosen Path is a raw, emotional journey through first love, devastating heartbreak, and the painful process of learning who you are when the person you loved is gone. It's about the walls we build to protect ourselves and the courage it takes to tear them down. Most importantly, it's about discovering that sometimes the person who breaks your heart is also the one who teaches you that your worth was never theirs to determine.

For readers who loved To Die To Live and are ready for the next chapter of Theo's story—a powerful exploration of love, loss, and learning that healing begins when you choose yourself.
