Good copy bound in contemporary full aniline calf. Spine bands and panel edges somewhat dulled and rubbed as with age. Some surface scuffs and scratches to boards. There is a crack visible around the top end of the spine/front cover joint. New endpapers. Previous owner's inscription on blank prelim. page. Some light marginal foxing and dust-toning, mainly to prelims. and the first hundred or so pages. Otherwise, the pages are relatively bright and clean. Remains quite well-preserved overall.
