About the Author

Michael Oren Fitzgerald has spent extended periods of time visiting traditional cultures and attending sacred ceremonies throughout the world. He has written and edited numerous publications on world religions, predominantly American Indian spirituality. He is a licensed attorney and holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from Indiana University. Michael has taught Religious Traditions of the North American Indians in the Indiana University Continuing Studies Department in Bloomington, Indiana. He resides with his wife, Judith Fitzgerald, in Bloomington, Indiana.

Judith Fitzgerald is a graduate of Indiana University. She is an artisan, calligrapher, graphic designer, and has collaborated with Michael Oren Fitzgerald on the recent successful inspirational quote book, Indian Spirit (World Wisdom, 2003). She resides with her husband, Michael Oren Fitzgerald, in Bloomington, IN.
