Each of us as Christians has a challenge in how to effectively manage our own lives both personally and professionally. We must address a number of issues about ourselves: o our faith o our personal value system o the implications of our being Christians o our talents o our spiritual gifts o our formal education o our abilities Building upon this exploration, we need to set goals (and priorities within those goals). Then we must set strategies for implementing these prioritized goals toward effective personal management.

About the Author
Dr. Kenneth W. Oosting is the founder and former President of Williamson Christian College, a nontraditional bachelor's-degree-granting Christian college with on-site and online courses in Franklin, Tennessee. He also founded Oosting and Associates Inc., an academic management and consulting firm in Franklin, Tennessee, in 1987. In 2006, Knowledge Elements was created to carry on the business of Oosting and Associates with an increased emphasis on enabling colleges and universities to provide online courses with little or no up-front cost. Together, Oosting and Associates and Knowledge Elements have served over 150 colleges and universities. Dr. Oosting was the academic dean of Milligan College from 1976 to 1986 and, before his time at Milligan, served as a community-college president, dean, department chair, and professor. He advises college deans and presidents through workshops and campus visits. Dr. Oosting's undergraduate degree is from the University of Michigan, and his PhD is from the University of Minnesota. He and his wife, Jacklyn, live in Brentwood, Tennessee. They have four children and twelve grandchildren.
