A pocket-sized edition of this collection of religious passages. A pocket sized edition of this religious work. Written by Samuel Clark, an English nonconformist minister. In two parts, I. The Blessings Promised and II. The Duties to which Promises are made. This is the second edition of this particular publication of the work which is revised and enlarged with an introduction on the interpretation of scripture promises by William Carter. William Carter was a 19th Century theological and political writer. In a half calf binding with marbled boards. Externally, generally smart with patches of slight rubbing to the paper covered boards. Externally some bumping to the extremities. Prior owner's inscription to the recto of front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are slightly age toned with the odd spot throughout. Very Good.
