About this Item
Two-page menu bound with red ribbon. Menu measures 5 ½" x 7 ½". December 18, 1913. Rear wrap was at one time glued to another piece of paper; glue and paper residue is on the rear wrap, does not affect content. Wraps have light soiling and minor toning from ribbon on the second page of the menu. Overall good. The Multnomah Hotel opened in 1912, filled an entire city block and hosted many famous guests. The menu featured Yaquina Bay oysters, saddle of lamb with currant jelly and fancy ice cream. Page 2 contains information regarding that evening's musical entertainment and on the rear wrap is a list of officers and staff of the hotel. No copies found in OCLC as of November 2021.
