Externally, smart. Three of the spine labels of the set are detached and inserted to the book. There is some bumping to the heads and tails of the spines and to the extremities. There is some wear to the leather on the spine. The front hinge of Volume I is starting but firm. Prior owner's book plate to the front pastedown of Volume I. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some occasional spotting. Good.
