This VG- book was published by The Century Company in 1927; it is 7-1/2" x 4-7/8" with 285 numbered pages; if it was issued with a jacket, there is no jacket now; it has a page listing frontis + 3 illustrations --all are on coated paper and all are present and firmly attached. This book has a mild lean, and is reasonably clean, free of edge dings and with bumps to the front corners which have caused some fabric damage at the lower corner. The spine ends also have bumps, with slight wear and a short tear at the heel. The spine has soiling and several vertical creases (see photo). The spine and front panel lettering and the small spine illustration are intact. Except for an inked name/date on the FFEP, the interior is completely free of writing, stray marks, stains and paper damage of any sort. The paper is very slightly toned and very flexible but it is not brittle; end pages have a modest amount of toning. Both hinges are very strong and not damaged in any way.
