The Circle Five

The Circle Five is the fifth book published by the students of Ramey-Estep High School. The student submitted writing pieces and artwork in this book provide a glimpse in the lives of Kentucky’s State Agency children. The poems, short narratives and artwork provide vivid accounts of troubled upbringings, family upheaval, neglect and hope for the future. The writings have been left largely unedited, in an effort to preserve the voice and gritty realism of their works. Once again, this book provides a much needed voice to a population which most of society has forgotten.
