The material is generally verbatim, faithfully representative of the action and intention of the patients, personnel, myself and importantly, Reverend Dod. He and other personnel were essential for the core, spiritual nature that wove throughout the therapeutic sessions as a whole. Now 102, Joseph Abrahams was born in Dallas, TX in 1916, lived briefly in New England, and was educated in New York City. He attained an M.D. degree in 1939 from Emory Uni versity, and went on as a psychoanalyst, practicing in Washington DC, La Jolla, CA, and San Luis Obispo, CA.
