About the Author

Teri L. Piatt holds a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Science and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She has worked for GE Aviation and for Jacobs Sverdrup as a research engineer in the Sensors Directorate at the Air Force Research Laboratory. She is currently a Lecturer at Wright State University.
