Circus of Shadows

Step into a world where magic dazzles the senses, madness lurks in the shadows, and survival is a performance in itself.

Under the shimmering lights of the Jensen Three Ring Circus, wonder and spectacle reign supreme. The acrobats soar, the animals perform, and the crowds cheer in awe as magic fills the air. But behind the glitz and glamour of the big top, a darker reality festers-one that even the allure of the circus cannot hide.

For Kate "The Great," life on the tightropes, trapeze, and aerial hoops is her sanctuary. Up in the air, she's untouchable-a free spirit, full of grace and boundless joy. But on the ground, Kate is shackled by a life of unspeakable brutality. Her nights are filled with nightmares she cannot escape, and her days spin out of control until one fateful encounter with the devil himself changes everything.

After a single, irreversible act, Kate finds herself confined to the Rosenton Home for the Criminally Insane-a haunting asylum filled with the broken, the lost, and the damned. Stripped of her freedom, Kate is determined to face her demons, make peace with her sins, and reclaim her sanity. But the road to redemption is paved with chaos, and the inhabitants of her ward are as intriguing as they are dangerous.

Among them are a charming Texas farm boy whose presence soothes Kate's fractured mind, an older Mexican woman consumed by an obsession with beauty, a teenage girl who refuses to eat, an unnervingly cheerful woman with her sights set on the farm boy, a towering giant with striking green eyes who guards his secrets fiercely, and a cold, emotionless sixteen-year-old whose icy demeanor chills everyone in his path.

As Kate navigates this maze of torment and friendship, the lines between reality and illusion blur. The circus may have been her cage, but the asylum threatens to devour her entirely. Can Kate find the strength to fight her unseen demons, or will the madness lurking in the shadows claim her forever?

Prepare for a harrowing journey of resilience, redemption, and the search for light in the darkest corners of the human soul. Will you dare to step inside the tent?
