About the Authors

Shirley Jordan is Professor of French Literature and Visual Culture at Queen Mary University of London, UK, where she writes about contemporary women's writing, displacement and hospitality, and city photography.

Christoph Lindner is Professor of Urban Studies and Dean of The Bartlett Faculty of the Built Environment at University College London, UK, where he writes about cities, visual culture, and social-spatial inequality.
