Two volumes. Early Edition. Small 8vo. Bound in polished calf, rebacked with maroon labels in gilt. Covers rubbed but otherwisea very good clean copy. Oliver Goldsmith was born in Pallas, Co. Longford. He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin. He went to London and became a friend of the great Samuel Johnson. He is best known for "The Vicar of Wakefield, The Deserted Village, and She Stoops to Conquer.
