Citrinitas: A Course in Modern Alchemy - Part Three (Paperback or Softback)

Citrinitas is the third stage in the journey of inner alchemy - a work of illumination following the purification of Albedo.

Where Nigredo dismantled the false self, and Albedo stabilised and clarified the vessel, Citrinitas turns toward a more subtle inquiry: not the psychology of the self, but the architecture of reality in which the self appears.

Structured across four movements - Mythos, Dharma, Object, and Subject - this volume explores advanced contemplative traditions drawn from Buddhist psychology, Hermetic philosophy, and non-dual inquiry. It examines the dismantling of the subtle fetters, the mechanics of perception, the stages of awakening, and the luminous ground of awareness itself.

This is not a book of belief or ritual. It is a disciplined and systematic investigation into consciousness, identity, and the conditions that sustain suffering. Rather than promising transcendence through attainment, Citrinitas invites the reader to examine the structure of experience directly - and to discover what remains when the machinery of selfhood falls silent.

Intended for serious students of contemplative philosophy and advanced spiritual practice, this volume represents the solar phase of the Great Work: the ripening of clarity into wisdom.

Simon Robinson has spent a lifetime navigating the space between reason and the unknown.Trained in medicine at the University of Manchester (1994), he built a career spanning anaesthesia, general practice, and medical hypnosis, earning fellowships from the Royal College of Anaesthetists (London, 2003) and the Australian College of General Practitioners (Brisbane, 2011). Yet beneath the structure of professional success, a deeper restlessness stirred-one that no title, career path, or certainty could settle. That restlessness first lay dormant, tempered by the demands of training and the constant movement through hospitals in Manchester, Cambridge, Chester, Torquay, Crewe, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Rockhampton. But when the time came to finally settle, the weight of certainty felt heavier than uncertainty ever had. Depression followed-a rupture that didn't break him, but instead, set him in motion again. The search for something beyond the boundaries of conventional truth became the only path forward. Now based in Scarborough, UK, Robinson writes with a simple intention: to share the wisdom that dissolves suffering. His work is not about offering answers, but about lighting the way for those who, like him, have searched for something more.Beyond his personal journey, Simon is a founding and active member of the Wordbotherers-a vibrant collective of authors and poets nestled in rural North Yorkshire.Through this platform, he regularly shares his writings, offering readers a diverse tapestry of stories and reflections.
