City of God: A Practical Guide To The Bible For Locals

In this book J. M. Vargas provides a simple chart and brief explanation for each of the 5 major covenantal views within Christianity. These 5 different charts are as follows: •1646 Westminster Confession •1689 Second London Baptist Confession •New Covenant Theology •Progressive Covenantalism •Dispensationalism •Mono Covenantalism. For visual learners, this book will prove to be a useful tool as the author puts these charts and explanations side by side allowing the reader to see basic similarities and differences between them. However, Vargas doesn't stop there as he devotes the rest of the book to helping readers apply the gospel to the Bible themselves. This is a must-read for pastors and students who are interested in making an impact in their Church community.
