Architect Robert Kahn is the creator and editor of the City Secrets series. A recipient of the Rome Prize in Architecture from the American Academy in Rome, Kahn has received numerous awards from the New York chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). His work has been featured Architectural Digest, House & Garden, Metropolitan Home, The New York Times Magazine and The New York Times, among many other publications. He has taught design at Columbia University, Ohio State University, and Yale University where he held a Davenport Chair Professorship from 1985-1986. Kahn founded Fang Duff Kahn Publishers in 2009. He lives in New York City and Shelter Island, NY with his wife and daughter.
