Hardcover with no DJ. Tan leather over boards with gold lettering on spine. Title and copyright pages dated 1868. 665 pages with a 37 page appendix and a 54 page index. Front board missing. Leather on rear board and spine is worn and rubbed. Rear board loosely attached to binding. Gold lettering on spine shiny and legible. Front and rear endpapers toned along margins with light foxing. Notes from previous owner on rear attached endpaper in pencil. Very minor waviness to pages. Text on pages remain tidy and legible. Remaining pages are secure in binding. Fair condition.
