The Civilian Rifleman Guide to Baofeng Radios

In a world torn by civil strife or foreign invasion, silence is surrender. The Civilian Rifleman Guide to Baofeng Radios equips you to keep your voice alive when chaos reigns. Follow Sarah, dodging looters in a riot-ravaged city with her UV-5R, and Mike, evading Chinese patrols in occupied Springfield with his AR-152, as they fight to reconnect with family through the static of war. This guide delivers step-by-step mastery of two powerful radios: the lightweight UV-5R for urban survival (2–5 miles range, ~$25) and the rugged AR-152 for long-range ops (5–15 miles, IPX-7 waterproof). Learn to program secure channels, extend range with antennas, integrate tactical accessories like throat mics, and troubleshoot under fire. From urban family nets to rural resistance relays, scenario-based drills prepare you for the worst. Legal compliance (FCC licensing) and OPSEC tactics keep your signals hidden from enemies. Whether facing riots or invasions, this book is your lifeline to communication when the grid fails and danger closes in. Train now, stay connected, and defy the storm.
