Content Description: Classed Intersections: Spaces, Selves, Knowledges was first published by Ashgate in 2010. The copy we offer is the 2018 Routledge reprint. The book brings together interdisciplinary scholarship examining the ways social class intersects with gender, sexuality, ethnicity, identity, place, education, work, family, and everyday life. Edited by sociologist Yvette Taylor, the collection explores how class identities and inequalities are produced, experienced, and negotiated across a range of social settings. Contributors draw on approaches including in-depth interviews, ethnography, and autobiographical research to examine such subjects as education and the workplace, consumption, citizenship, family life, sexuality, and working-class experience. The volume makes a substantive contribution to contemporary class and intersectionality studies and will be of particular interest to readers in sociology, gender and sexuality studies, cultural studies, social geography, education, and inequality research. Condition Description: Very Good. This copy was acquired from a bookseller who purchases publisher and distributor overstock. It appears to be an unsold overstock copy rather than a previously owned or used book. It was sold to me as a new book, but I did not feel comfortable listing it as “New” or “Fine.” It is a clean, solid softcover copy with a bright, clean interior and firm binding. No writing, highlighting, underlining, ownership marks, or other interior markings. Glossy covers remain bright and attractive, with light to moderate shelf/storage wear including surface rubbing, minor scuffing, and some edge and corner wear. Several corners show small bumps or light creasing, with slightly more noticeable rubbing at the lower spine/corner area. Page edges are generally clean with a few minor handling/storage marks. Overall, a well-preserved copy with wear primarily confined to the exterior. Actual copy shown in photographs. …
