Clean eating is not a diet. Most diets don’t work. We have all been on diets that are incredibly restrictive and starved ourselves. Yes, we lost weight for a while, but it certainly wasn’t a way of eating that was sustainable. As soon as we got off of the diet, we would gain all of the weight back and sometimes gained even more weight. Eating clean food is totally sustainable. It is a way of eating that you will want to continue for a lifetime. This cookbook is filled with recipes using whole, nutrient-dense foods that are Paleo and Gluten Free(If you use coconut aminos in the recipes that call for soy sauce.) The recipes have easy to follow instructions and are not labor intensive. If I can do this, so can you.

About the Author

Renae lived a high stress executive lifestyle, complete with a lot of travel. She was gaining weight and feeling the effects of aging, or so she thought. She was exhausted and just didn’t feel good. She needed to make some drastic changes to her lifestyle. She started reading everything that she could about what to eat and what not to eat, and how food affects our bodies. The information that she found was astounding! It was the food that she was eating that was causing the weight gain and making her feel tired. She knew that eating a piece of fish or grilled chicken and a salad for lunch and dinner for the rest of her life was just not sustainable. That’s when she had to get creative. She has created recipes that are very much like the comfort foods that she grew up with. Meals that were very satisfying and that really sticks to the ribs, but using clean ingredients. She now eat lots of protein, fresh fruits and vegetables. Her body is really showing these positive changes, she has more energy, she has lost weight and feels healthier. The food was so good, that her friends and family started to ask for the recipes. That’s when the idea of writing a cookbook was born. She has created the recipes to be tasty and interesting.
