If you're looking for how to make money from betting on horseraces, well, this book isn't for you. A quick turn of the cover shows a hollowed out-recess containing miniatures of the tools necessary to clean up, rather than rake it in. The amusing tongue-in-cheek production was copywritten in 1939 by H. Fishlove & Company of Chicago. The book in which the joke is housed was printed later - likely in the late 1940s considering it was an overprinting of a commemorative volume for American G.I.'s. Sheet Height (in) 7.1 Condition B+ Good condition, with a quarter sized damp stain on the front cover and mild to moderate toning, consistent with age. Seller Inventory # 3530
