A Clear Display Of The Trinity, From Divine Revelation: In Three Parts, With An Address To Enquiring Christians (1815)

""A Clear Display of the Trinity, From Divine Revelation: In Three Parts, With an Address to Enquiring Christians"" is a religious book written by Alexander Murray and published in 1815. The book aims to provide a comprehensive explanation of the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, which holds that God is three persons in one: the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and the Holy Spirit. The book is divided into three parts, each of which explores a different aspect of the Trinity. The first part examines the biblical evidence for the Trinity, drawing on passages from both the Old and New Testaments to argue that the doctrine is firmly rooted in scripture. The second part explores the historical development of the doctrine, tracing its evolution from the early church to the present day. The third part focuses on the practical implications of the Trinity for Christian life and worship.Throughout the book, Murray emphasizes the importance of the Trinity as a foundational belief for Christians. He argues that a proper understanding of the Trinity is essential for a correct understanding of God's nature and for a meaningful relationship with Him. The book also includes an address to enquiring Christians, in which Murray offers guidance to those who may be struggling to understand the Trinity or who are seeking to deepen their faith.Overall, ""A Clear Display of the Trinity, From Divine Revelation"" is a scholarly and thorough exploration of one of the central doctrines of Christianity. It provides a valuable resource for those seeking to deepen their understanding of the Trinity and its significance for Christian belief and practice. To Which Is Added, By Way Of Appendix, A Key To The Scripture Character Of Jesus Christ. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
