He was a pioneer of the lost world literary genre. In the publisher's original dust wrapper and cloth binding. Externally, very smart and bright. Very minor rubbing to tail of spine. The odd small mark to boards. Offsetting to end papers. Ink inscription to front free end paper. The dustwrapper is smart. Chipping to extremities, and small areas of loss to head and tail of spine. The odd closed tear. Toned due to handling. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean and bright, especially to top fore edge. Near Fine.
