Original black cloth, front cover stamped in blind, spine lettered in gilt. Yellow printed end papers bearing ads. Some wear to spine, lower cover detached, otherwise very good in general. Ownership inscription on the verso of the title page. Stamped on the spine in blind: "Eighth Issue". Many illustrated ads on purple leaves, front and rear (10 leaves in the front, 6 in the rear, several more interleaved). A revival of the earlier directories published 1817 - 1836 as "The Clerical Guide or Ecclesiastical Directory". Seller Inventory # 56714
