Climate Change Sustainability and Consumer: Towards A Better Future

The book is an outcome of a National Seminar on "Sustainability Consumption, Climate Change and Consumers-Towards a Better Future.", organized by the Centre for Consumer Studies Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi. The seminar was sponsored by the Department of Consumer Affairs, Government of India. The book contains chapters written by eminent experts working in the area. They have discussed some of the most important and critical issues pertaining to climate change and global warming in India. It evaluates the measures taken to slower the pace of global warming which is hampering the environment leading to serious changes in climate all over and also leading to frequent natural disasters. The case studies identify the causes of the increase in global warming and suggests future course of action in this direction with certain remedial measures.
