Climb and Fall (The Climb and Fall Trilogy)

When a career-driven Art Director falls for the model she’s managing, forbidden romance threatens both their futures.

Tinashe Gono has mastered the art of ambition. As the sleek and sharp Art Director at Lustrous—one of Michigan’s hottest fashion magazines—she’s spent years crafting images that dazzle on covers and burn through social feeds. But she’s not done climbing yet. When the coveted Managing Editor role opens up, she’s handpicked as one of six internal contenders. If she lands it, she won’t just be winning a title—she’ll be securing the life she’s always dreamed of: polished, powerful, and finally, permanent.

Then Chase Hudson walks in.

The newly hired male model is a walking headline—gorgeous, magnetic, and dripping with the kind of effortless charm that makes editors, readers, and interns fall over themselves to get near him. He’s got the face of a campaign and the body of a scandal. And unfortunately for Tinashe, he’s her next major assignment.

She’s tasked with sculpting his image into the magazine’s next superstar. But every moment spent beside him ignites a chemistry too potent to ignore. And it’s not just flirting—it’s forbidden. Their contracts are ironclad: no dating, no hooking up, no crossing that very thin, very tempting line between coworkers. Violating that clause could destroy everything.
For Tinashe, it means losing the role she’s worked her whole life for.

For Chase, it means losing the job he’s counting on to pay for his mother’s cancer treatment.

Falling in love was never part of the brief. But the heart doesn’t care about clauses. And when sparks turn into wildfire, someone’s bound to get burned.

Forbidden love never looked this good.
