MORE AND MORE: "Climbing the Mountain to Infinity"

There once was a king of a mighty empire, and this powerful king picked YOU as his favorite subject. He was always doing you great favors, watching over your every need. He lavished great riches upon you every day. Would you like to be a subject in such a kingdom? This is what the Bible says it is like to be a follower of Jesus Christ. In this book, More and More, are principles which will show you how to grow more and more in your enjoyment of the riches of this kingdom.

I am dazzled by what he has written and enthusiastically recommend it to you for consideration. Walter started his college career graduating as an engineering major at MIT, and subsequently received a Ph.D. in Biblical Studies from Princeton Theological Seminary. He then spent decades as a Prebyterian minister before his retirement. I believe only someone like Walter with his complex spiritual background could have produced such a book. Here is a short quote from the first chapter: "The closer I get to Jesus Christ, the more intimately I want to know Him. The more I praise Him the more fully I realize how great he is. The better I know him the more I want to experience his love and personality. The objective of this book is to help you realize that there is more to the Christian life than you have experienced at this point in your life."  Walter Ray takes you on a journey which begins by asking if you have ever had that sneaking suspicion that there is more to your faith than you are currently experiencing? With significant insight and wisdom Dr. Ray then enables you to examine passages of scripture which wrestle with the value of free will, the sovereignty of God, the debilitating nature of racism, the heart of the Gospel, how to respond when disaster strikes, the existence of evil, and actively discerning God’s will. If you are looking for a good read that will cause you to think and think deeply about your life and the centrality of faith in it, this may well be a book for you.

Filled with a plethora of biblical wisdom and practical application, Walter Ray’s new book More and More is a great book about practical Christian living. It’s my pleasure to recommend it to anyone serious about growing closer to Christ.
