He has worked as a senior resident in the Department of Biochemistry at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Medical Sciences and Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital as well as Vardhman Mahavir Medical College and Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi, India. His current research focuses on biochemical biomarkers, including interleukins and nanocomposites-based sensors, and Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases on animal models.
Simmi Kharb is a senior professor and head of the Department of Biochemistry at Pt. B. D. Sharma PGIMS, University of Health Sciences, Rohtak, India. She is also the nodal officer at the DHR-ICMR-Multidisciplinary Research Unit at the university. She is part of several prestigious research projects, including Ayushman Bharat–Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), multicentric research projects from MRUs, and Dr Padam Singh Research and Development Scheme from DHR-ICMR.
