Clinical Judgment

Clinical Judgment is designed to assist clinicians in making high quality, valid, and precise decisions or recommendations in situations involving diagnosis, classification, and planning supports. Today, clinicians are being asked to formulate high-stakes decisions and recommendations that frequently require a level of competency beyond their formal training regarding equity, inclusion, self-determination, and self-advocacy. In the second edition, the authors synthesized evaluative input from colleagues and literature-based critiques and extended their analysis and evaluation of the role of clinical judgment in decision making.
