A Cloak of Light: Writing My Life

April Morning is an encapsulating experience of the human condition, throughout which writer Ace Tiwari leads readers through a search for love, home, and connection - both hers, and their own. If you've ever questioned your place in the world, it's curled up with this book, a cup of tea, and the warmth behind the skilful understanding of the world Tiwari elicits with just ink on paper. Releasing her second anthology at 16 (preluded by they will always find their way back to you, regardless) she not only understands the making of a good collection, but has mastered the making of numerous great ones. Featuring favourites people pleaser (a profound exploration into crushing expectations, payment for love and acceptance after a storm), riverflies (embracing the buzz of love in the light, whilst noticing the soft shine it holds in the darkness) and, of course, namesake April Morning (a competition winning poem summed up most by the word beautiful), the collection has a woven artistry bordering on musical, and it would be a life changing shame for one to miss. Every moment intricately written throughout 35+ poems, April Morning is not one to pass over, and it's certainly not one you'll forget.Written by Natalie Nagy.…
