Strap in for another tour through the highly charged Clone Wars Adventures! As the fires of the Clone Wars burn across the galaxy, heroes on both sides of the conflict emerge, and no matter what the outcome, the galaxy will be forever changed. Presenting four more pulse-racing tales of knock-down, drag-out action and adventure, all told in the same stripped-down stylization as Cartoon Network's micro-series.

Gr. 4-7. As quick and bright as the cartoon show it is based on, Clone Wars pares down art and story to tell four fast-moving Star Wars adventures in graphic-novel format: a Jedi encounters Ewoks for the first time; Princess Leia's adoptive father launches a daring rescue of a captured Jedi; a clone trooper witnesses the vileness of his enemy; and a young Jedi, who is betrayed by his own men, throws in with a group of outlaws. Amidst a swirl of lightsabers, blaster fire, and hyperkinetic fun are touches of genuine substance. Because the stories feature obscure characters in situations that require some familiarity with Star Wars, this will be most popular among hard-core fans. Jesse Karp
