Up Close and Personal: Embracing the Poor

Embracing the inner city with the love of Christ.

This book is about people, people like Josh, Eric, Sherry, and Rowena. Each not only lived in poverty but experienced new hope because of relationships and respect. Up Close and Personal is a trumpet call to change in two directions: to change ourselves and to change the poor. Its message is crystal clear: you and I can help the poor, and at the same time we are helped. The solution to the problem of the poor will surprise you. It's not money or management but something else. Read and enjoy.
