Clownface

Nebula finalist and Prometheus Award winner Brad Linaweaver has been writing science fiction, fantasy and horror for two decades. This is his first collection of short stories.

Here you will meet a clown who doesn't need makeup, a dwarf who tells his psychiatrist all about invisible dinosaurs, a Nazi who learns the true horror of Atlantis, a technological Aztec empire bent upon enslaving the Plains Indians, a barber who prefers werewolves as customers, a robot conscience that discovers its own soul, a mathematician who can conquer all the laws of space and time, a crazy chef who has very strange rules about his kitchen, a Halloween witch who is trapped in a world of Wiccans, the ultimate secret kept hidden beneath the Vatican, a President who loses his authority to characters out of a comic book, something more frightening than the Necronomicon found at Miskatonic University, a sexy Hollywood actress who challenges the supernatural to help a producer, a science fiction writer who finds himself at the exact center of the universe, a mysterious killer in the swamp who wants to murder his way to salvation and a Utopia built on the ideas of H. G. Wells that is threatened by the one thing Wells would never forget!

These stories will stay with you long after you read them.
