Illustrated frontispiece of a Barbel with tissue guard. Black and white plates showing a variety of coarse fish along with equipment needed - rods, reels, floats, etc. Chapters include fishing for Barbel, Bleak, Carp, Dace, Eel, Flounder, Perch, Pike, Roach, Tench, etc. The book is bound in its original green cloth with gilt titles on the spine and front cover. Light rubbing to the corners, some scattered foxing within the text, otherwise very good.
