100x64 cm Unbacked chart of the Blue Hill Bay which includes the western 2/3 of Mt. Desert Island. Mt. Desert is shown from roughly Somes Sound west. The eastern coast and Bar Harbor are not present. Good condition, with a 7x5 cm. portion of the top left margin missing, light staining at the lower left edge and several short repaired tears. Uncolored. In addition to thousands of depths being documented, there is excellent detail on the land.
