The Second Edition, so stated on the title page. 51 pp. Lacking the rear board and most of the spine strip, covered well rubbed especially about the corners. Guide for the emplyees of the Pennsylvania Hospital for The Insane with sections on interaction with patients, supervision, cleanliness and ventilation of wards, meals, administration of medicines, bathing, shaving, walking out with patients, reading in wards and lecture-room entertainments, seclusion of patients, restraiuning apparatus, suicidal cases, clothing, prohibited articles, etc; also a section on "special attandants" such as wathmen and watchwomen, seamstresses, carpenters, gardeners, gatekeepers, etc. Bookseller Inventory # E12593
